They will look (and feel) like elevated burns, and because he's already super covered in scars, will probably not be super noticeable. He knows they're there, that's what counts. Once they start growing, his horns will each have a small red "ring" etched into them, spelling out 'daredevil' (in braille.) Because characters view their runes with fondness, Matt will grow to like his horns after he's over the shock.
